About

Ana Ferrante, MA, LPCC

“May the sunrise bring hope where it once was forgotten.”

From trauma to daily obstacles, my clients appreciate and look forward to a safe, authentic, and creative environment, and with that, our interpersonal exchanges will follow you throughout your everyday life.

A short little background about my education and experiences that lead me to clinician I am today! I graduated from Syracuse University with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Public Health and a Master’s in Clinical Art Therapy and Counseling from Long Island University. Currently, I have a LPCC in the state of Colorado and I am currently working towards receiving a ATR-BC. I have provided therapeutic care working with Non-Profit Organizations, Private Practice, and Community Mental Health Centers. My career path started when I had the opportunity to help children and families struggling with substance abuse, poverty, child abuse and neglect and navigating the foster care/adoption system; showing the community how to use the camera while capturing moments in time sparked the passion with utilizing art in healing. Immersing myself within the communities of Managua/Chacaraseca, Nicaragua and Grahamstown, South Africa solidified the eagerness to impact individuals domestically and globally.

In 2019, I began working with children as a therapist at a private practice as well as a non-profit organization addressing challenges related to ADHD, autism, anxiety, depression, and trauma. I strongly believe in giving children a voice as well as adults in addition to providing a warm and welcoming environment to express themselves. The approach I use in sessions is client and family centered, focusing on evidence based therapies, such as CBT and DBT.

Outside of work! I love to be outdoors either walking my dog, biking, running hiking etc. anything that gets some fresh air in my lungs! And of course keeping my creativity active, including cooking 🙂 having some sort of big art project to go back to and continue is one of my favorite things.
